Welcome Silver Sponsor SDU Board of Governors!
August 18, 2023
Saint Dunstan’s University (SDU) is a former university which was located on the outskirts of Charlottetown, PEI. SDU merged with Prince of Wales College (PWC) in 1969 to form the University of Prince Edward Island.
SDU predecessor was St. Dunstan’s College, founded in 1855 as a seminary which trained young men for the Catholic clergy. By mid-20th century, the college expanded into a small liberal arts university. SDU also included a high school for students planning to continue academic or professional studies.
Today, Saint Dunstan’s University lives on through the Board of Governors, which operates as a foundation to foster and promote Christian higher education and preserve the memory of Saint Dunstan’s University.
In addition to funding many scholarships, bursaries, awards, and supporting UPEI, the SDU Board of Governors considers other funding proposals that are worthy of support.
Seniors College of PEI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to lifelong learning for PEI seniors aged 50 and older, and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Seniors College sponsorship initiative invites community minded partners to provide Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsorship. Details about Our Sponsors program is available on the top menu under About Us/Our Sponsors.
Thank you to Silver Sponsor SDU Board of Governors for your support of Seniors College!
