Courses are offered in three semesters: Fall (beginning in October), Winter (beginning in January), and Spring (beginning in April). Courses run from 1 week to 10 weeks and the class sessions are 2-3 hours in length.. Registration for all courses opens online in early September. If you miss the September date, you can register online throughout the year or contact the Coordinator to register by phone or e-mail.
With over a hundred courses to choose from island-wide, we have divided them into the following categories:
The Arts and Literature
Courses in this category include a wide range of topics from discussing various types of Literature, singing in a choir, writing short stories, watching movies to acting on stage.
Drawing and Painting
Members taking courses in this category get their creative juices flowing with hands on experience drawing and/or painting using various medium.
Computers and Science
This category spans computer courses from the very basic to using software for photo editing and everything in between. It also includes science courses such as the weather and astronomy.
Social Sciences, History and Religion
The courses in this category cover a broad range of topics from history and politics (local, national or international), law and government and various world religions.
Skills and Activities
In this category members can learn many new skills. These include cooking, playing bridge, staying fit, learning a new language and taking pictures.
Issues for Discussion
Courses in this category include topics that are current in the news and/or are issues that are pertinent to the 50 plus population.

Seniors College Program Committee is currently planning courses and scheduling for the 2025-2026 college year. Completed current year courses will gradually be removed from the web site course listing for review and updates. A first peek at Seniors College 2025-2026 courses will be available early August.
