Gentle Hatha Yoga (Queens County)
Suitable for all levels.
This is designed to be an accessible series, with a mix of dynamic movement and gentle, longer held poses as well as breathwork, sound and meditation.
Gentle Hatha is a wonderful practice to prepare the body and mind for the day's activities or, on the other hand, to enable a deeper meditation. For those who would like to deepen their practice, Yoga Nidra (a guided meditation class) is scheduled after Gentle Hatha.

Requirements | Just a yoga mat. Dress in comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. |

Objectives | The class is designed to improve strength, flexibility and balance -- not to mention peace of mind! |
Teaching Process | We open and close with seated meditation, moving from warm-up through postures and dynamic movement. Classes may include sound yoga, yin and yang poses, breathwork and energy work. |
