Democracy-How Trump broke it in the USA - what Canada needs to do to protect our democracy (Queens County)

The course will examine how Donald Trump has fundamentally changed the US democratic system, what potential problems can arise and what Canada has to do to ensure those issues don't arise here.

Course Facilitator

Aidan Sheridan

Aidan Sheridan is a former Crown Prosecutor and tried cases in all courts in PEI. He is also a former senior officer with the Office of the Judge Advocate General, the legal branch of the Canadian Forces and has both prosecuted and defended cases within the CF discipline system. While in the Canadian Armed Forces, he attended several Canadian and International courses on International Humanitarian Law. He is also a part-time Judicial Justice of the Peace.
