Seniors College December Update
December 13, 2017
It’s hard to believe that the Fall semester of Seniors College has gone by so quickly! We hope everyone enjoyed their courses, reconnected with old friends and met some new ones!
At the Annual General Meeting, held in November, out-going Board members Linda Patterson-Gibson, Maureen Pendergast and Georgie Clow were recognized for their contribution to the College. Seniors College members Pat MacAulay, Andy Smith and Jennifer Acton were elected to the Board.
The Executive for the coming year Includes:
President: Barb Trainor
Vice President: Janet Ellis
Treasurer: Mary Brodersen
Secretary: Mary Lou Turner
Past President: Georgie Clow
The winter session will start the second week in January and the following is some information that may be helpful.
Courses:
We would like to remind members that if you change your mind about taking a course that you are registered in, please login to your account and remove it from your class list. Go to My Account/My Courses and click on the red cancel button. We have many waiting lists and would appreciate your assistance to free up spots for others. At the same time we encourage you to add your name to wait lists as often space does open up.
There is still room in many courses in both the Winter and Spring Semesters. If you would like to add an additional course or invite a friend to become a member, please take a look at our courses at seniorscollege.ca.
The Storm Policy:
Seniors College classes in Queen's County are cancelled when UPEI closes.
Seniors College classes in King's County and Prince County are cancelled when the public schools are closed. Usually another class will be added if the facilitator and the venue are available.
We wish you and your family Happy Holidays and All the Best in 2018.
